Children's Superhero Party

Our amazing Children’s Superhero Party will take place on Saturday 9th November, 2pm – 3.30pm at the Church Centre. Please come along - Your kids will thoroughly enjoy it.

Community Meal

On Sunday 15th December, we are having our Community Christmas Meal at 1pm at the Church Centre. If you or others would like to come along to this, please RSVP to so that we know how much food to prepare. This will be a free meal, bringing together friends old and new from across our community.

The Simply Eat Tour

Learn how to make the most of opportunities to share faith over food at our Simply Eat tour on Saturday 19th October, 10am – 1pm, at Southampton Lighthouse International Church. If you love to share faith over food, come and explore creative ways of using food to build new friendships and share the Christian faith. • Explore the biblical context for using food as a way to share Jesus • Hear testimonies of people coming to faith through Christians sharing food • Watch a fun demo on how to make a simple meal • Share a meal together! Church Together Day - talks now available

Thanks everyone for coming to the church away day in the new forest at the beginning of October - we hope that it was a day of encouragement, challenge and growth for everyone. Particular thanks to all who were involved in helping with the day, including Colin and Julian helping with setup, Paul, Noah, Jif on the technical stuff, Josh, Alan, Andy, Nathan on worship, Dave and Miriam who spoke, Angie, Lisa, Joy, Brian for the catering, Abi, Richard and the team running the kids / youth work, lots of people who helped with the set down with Pete and Helen, for Ellen who did lots of administrating for the whole event and not forgetting the bouncy castle man! City Prayer for Older People

We invite you to join us at our next prayer meeting for the Older People's Ministry in the city on Monday 2nd March, 1pm – 3pm, at St Mary's Church, Sholing. All welcome – Tea, coffee and cake provided.

Afternoon Tea Dance

Tuesday 1st October is International Older Person's Day and we are celebrating with an Afternoon Tea Dance, 2pm – 4.30pm at Highfield Church. We have dancers coming from DM Studios, the fab live band 'Second Wind' and delicious cakes and bakes for afternoon tea. And of course lots of cups of Tea and Coffee at the ready! We would love people of all ages to come and join us, but particularly those from the older community. There is absolutely no pressure to dance - people are welcome to come and just enjoy the event. Awaken is a monthly celebration hosted by New Community Church at Central Hall, with vibrant worship, a passionate and engaging Bible-based talk, and exciting guest speakers. This event is for people from across the city, providing an opportunity to come together to be inspired, challenged and encouraged.
