Refresh and Resource Day

We invite you to our annual Refresh and Resource Day on Wednesday 1st April, 10am – 4pm with coffee and pastries from 9.30am at Highfield Church, Southampton. This is for all those serving our older community across the city and beyond – an interactive and creative event, with a choice of workshops addressing different aspects of living with dementia and opportunities for networking. The speaker will be Dr Jennifer Bute author of Dementia from the Inside. A simple lunch will also be provided. Event free – suggested donation £10. Mindfulness, Character and Wellbeing

A lecture by Dr Roger Bretherton arranged by Christians in Science at 7.30pm on Thursday 5th March at Lecture Theatre A, Physics Building, University of Southampton. Dr Bretherton will argue that intentional mindfulness is compatible with historic Christian spirituality, and beneficial for the development of good character and human flourishing.

CCTS Pastoral Conference

This one-day training conference on Saturday 22nd February, 10am – 4pm at Above Bar Church is for anyone who is interested in mental health from a Christian perspective. Our last conference sold out and so we have invited Rachael Newham back (from the mental health charity 'ThinkTwice') to deliver the training again.
