Going Deeper Bible Studies
As Jesus disciples, we love to dig into the Bible to hear God's word for us today. We meet each week to learn from others and encourage each another. Our next session will be on Sunday 20th September, 7pm - 9pm. For more information, contact Nathan or Simon O. Future dates for your diaries are: October 18th and No

The Cave Invitation: Why Being Alone With God Is the Key to Growing Up in Faith
In this article, we explore the invitation to be alone with God, based on the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19. We ask 'Are we ever really alone with God?', and 'What can we learn from being alone?'.

This is led by Joe B and Jo H and meets at Nathan and Miriam's house on Life Group Sundays. The group is also running a parallel Practicing the Way discipleship course on Thursday evenings at the church centre. When Familiarity Blocks Miracles: Learning to Honour What God Is Doing
In Matthew 13, Jesus returns to his hometown where people's familiarity with his human side prevents them from recognising his divine nature. Their offence and lack of honour literally limits the miracles he can bring. Assumptions and offences in our hearts can inhibit what God does, so we want to learn to honour one another and stay open to how God chooses to work through unexpected people, recognising that his power flows best when we approach him and others without predete

Church Family Meeting - reporting back
We had a church family meeting on Sunday 19th April, and we thought it would be helpful to report back on the things we talked about together. Our church family meetings are sessions that we have fairly regularly (roughly every 4 months or so) to give everyone an opportunity to talk and ask any questions about our church - where are we going?! What are we doing about our building? How is the kids work planned and do we have enough volunteers. At our most recent session we

Life Group Sundays
Life! Life to the full! (John 10:10) This is what Jesus promises to us, and our Life Groups aim to provide a supportive framework for life within the church to grow, a place to be intentionally encouraged, opportunities to develop partnerships, to relate more deeply as we live our lives together. At King's we keep the final Sunday of each month as 'Life Group Sundays', where we do not meet as a whole church together, but we meet separately in each of our life group setting

Students Welcome
King's Church is a welcoming home to students who want to connect with a local church. We're a church with a real cross section, although many of us are former students at the university. We don't run groups specifically for students, and we welcome students to join in with church life. Perhaps that might mean getting involved in one of our life groups, or serving in our community cafe. There are lots of opportunities to get involved if you would like to. We're quite eas
