Our community café, Café153 welcomes you for freshly made coffee, cakes, breakfasts and lunches on Fridays and Saturdays from 8am until 1pm. Feel free to come and join us. The cafe is run by volunteers and from time to time, we need to take a rest! We're currently on a summer break, re-opening on Friday 28th August. We look forward to welcoming you when we reopen. In this article, we explore the invitation to be alone with God, based on the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19. We ask 'Are we ever really alone with God?', and 'What can we learn from being alone?'. The author Pete Scazzero puts it this way: “It’s impossible to be spiritually mature, while remaining emotionally immature”

We have a creative craft group called 'Make it Monday' which meets each Monday morning, 10am - 11.30am during term times only at the Church Centre. The group is a new adventure for us, as a place to bring your craft projects and to enjoy connecting with others as you make, knit, sew, crochet, weave etc over a cup of coffee.
