Eco Church Bronze Award

Kings Church has been awarded the the Eco-Church Bronze Award for its work towards being more sustainable. A variety of projects over the past couple of years have contributed to this, including renewing the windows to improve thermal insulation, re-insulating the church centre ceilings and renewing our heating system. Our Eco Group has led us in reviewing where we buy produce and products for our café, they have made and installed bird boxes, raising recycling awareness and community benefits to name a few. Many thanks to Phill and all involved in the Eco Group.

Eco Church is an A Rocha UK project supported by many churches across the country and several in the Southampton area.
