Supporting some of the most Vulnerable Women in our City

We start this year by saying how incredibly grateful we are for the support we received in 2025. From the amazing array of donations of toiletries and snacks, to financial gifts and grants, to volunteers going above and beyond to keep our outreach going, to donations of sandwiches and cakes, and to new partnership working — THANK YOU!

We want to give a shout out to Mauries sandwich shop who donate their surplus sandwiches, pizza slices and cakes to Amber every Monday in time for evening outreach.  We are so thankful and the women especiallly love the pizza slices!

We are so grateful for donations of toiletries received from Beauty Banks which have made a huge difference to what we can include in our wellbeing gift bags.

We are readvertising the role of Chaplain and Outreach Worker, now offering greater flexibility in working hours — part-time or full-time, with job share options. The role focuses mainly on afternoons, with availability to work evenings alongside our volunteer team. citylife.org.uk/joinin. Closing date for applications is Friday 16 February, 12noon.

We are so grateful to our volunteer team who help us to deliver our evening outreach sessions. We do need more volunteer drivers and chaplains who are available on a Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday evening. Please email us if you feel this could be for you. sue@amberchaplains.org.uk
