Turn the Battle is a national prayer and fasting event to which we're inviting every follower of Jesus across Southampton alongside lots of churches and organisations in the UK. There are various ways of being able to give to the work of King’s Church, typically this has been via a bank transfer or by putting the offering in the basket on a Sunday Morning. Dear friends With the arrival of Autumn and shorter, darker evenings, we are stocking up with pot noodles, hot drinks and winter essentials - scarves, gloves, hats and umbrellas. Whilst most of us enjoy the warmth and comfort of our homes, some women in our city are experiencing homelessness, along with isolation, addiction and mental ill health. God has not forgotten them. He sees them, He cares about them, and He has given us a passion and desire to walk alongside them.   S

We are looking to expand our staff team and have a vacancy for a new part-time (0.5 FTE) Chaplain and Outreach Worker.  If you or someone you know has a passion to walk alongside vulnerable women offering non-judgemental care, hope, and holistic practical and spiritual support, do please get in touch.   The role includes coordinating a team of volunteers to deliver our evening outreach sessions in our outreach van, and assisting with our new afternoon outreach.
