King's Church & Friends
Art Exhibition

We are a church-based group of artists, crafters and photographers who have exhibited during the Hampshire Open Studios (HOS) August event most years since 2017. HOS produce a brochure advertising the venues that over ten days will open their doors to show paintings, sculptures, wood turnings, jewellery, photography, glass work etc. People’s homes, gardens, art studios, churches, libraries, garden sheds, garages and galleries become treasure troves demonstrating the artistic talents of those made in God’s image inspired by God’s creation (though many might not yet realise those facts!)

For the sixth year King’s & Friends at the Church Centre Lordswood are hosting an Art and Crafts exhibition as part of this county-wide event. We are hoping to be open the full ten days.

Several members or friends of King's Church are exhibiting at the centre this year with faith based works as well as more traditional photographs, arts and crafts on display or for sale. A portion of proceeds go to mission causes supported by the church.

We hope that Café 153 will be open with the full menu as usual Friday and Saturday and the rest of the time drinks and cakes will be available (TBC). This is a great way to chat to people and previous years have led to conversations and relationships that have opened doors on people’s faith journeys.

If you want to find out more, be involved as a photographer, crafter or an artist, be a host, help in the café, distribute brochures or pray for the event please talk to Colin McQueen at church.

Brochures with all 300 plus venue info will available on the welcome table and various other spots in the centre from about the 15th July.
