A Land of Pure Delight

This summer is the 350th birthday of Isaac Watts.

Come join the groundbreaking author of over 750 hymns, including "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross", "Joy to the World", and "Our God, Our Help in Ages Past" on a walking tour around old Southampton. Visit places and meet characters that shaped his early life and influenced his hymn writing. Hear about his early struggles, his romantic heartbreaks, the Great Ejection & religious persecution in Southampton, and why the Civic Centre Clock plays one of his most famous tunes.

Tue 2nd, Wed 3rd, Thur 4th July at 7.15pm.

The walk begins at God's House Tower and ends at the Bargate. Tickets are £7 (inc booking fee) and available from www.wegottickets.com/sarahsiddonsfanclub
