Firgrove are springing into action!

SPRING NEWSLETTER

Firgrove & the Lilies

Firgrove are welcoming the new year with new energy and enthusiasm for some different avenues for our work including expanding our client base around post-adoption! We are passionate about the service we offer and meeting as many people as we can in their need around pregnancy and baby loss...

Centre News

Our team has recently visited the Bereavement Midwives at the Princess Anne Hospital where we saw the beautiful rooms they have for those who have experienced a loss. It has been enlightening to see the service they offer and how we can support them through our on-call counselling project funded by the Focus Foundation.

We are working with the Bereavement Midwives to support the Bramshaw unit for those who experience a loss under 20 weeks gestation and with the Foetal Medicine Team to support individuals and couples more in the moment.

This year brings the delivery of Unplanned Pregnancy training in April and our Post-abortion programme, Purple Doorway, training in May. If you would like to explore accessing this training or know of a counsellor who would benefit from this, please get in touch with us so we can let you know the dates and cost for this!

Financial Gifts

We are so blessed by the support of everyone who gives regularly to Firgrove. This enables us to keep costs low for clients and offer reduced sessions for those facing financial difficulty. Thank you for all your give!

Thank you as well to the Michael and Betty Little Trust who have donated £18,000 this month for our Bursary Fund! Thank you to everyone who came to our quiz night on 1 March where we raised £1,394! Thank you as well to CostCo for £100 from their community fund to support our work.

Alder Trust as a whole have the opportunity for £1,000 donation from the Benefact Group but we need your nomination... Please nominate us today for this funding!
