Night Light Host and Volunteers needed for Homeless Café

Updated: Jul 18

The Night Light Café, which officially started in June, is run by City Life Church for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness has made a great start, with average of about 23 a night, but they need one more paid worker and a bunch more volunteers. They would be very grateful if this could be passed on to any friends, colleagues and church members who have a heart for homeless people and those affected by addictions so the cafe can be kept open throughout the summer! The cafe runs from 4pm until 8pm. More information including descriptions and application forms for both the paid and volunteer role can be found by clicking on the link. They would love our support - any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated! They are keen to get as many Christian volunteers as possible, so that they can serve the community by providing a warm, welcoming space for those in need.

There have so far been around 150 visitors to the Night Light Cafe. People are very appreciative of the service. They are short of volunteers for 29th July, 7th August and 12th August.
