Safe Families & Home for Good Update Southampton - Spring 2025

Since starting in Southampton Local Churches has made an impact. 988 children across Southampton have benefitted from finding love and belonging! 440 Families have been supported through some of the most challenging times.

This is all thanks to our amazing volunteers and supporters. Whether you have hosted children, taken them to the park for the afternoon, supported a Mum, Dad or Grandparent, prayed for our work, or supported financially you have made a huge impact with your generosity Together we offer hope, belonging and support to children, families, and care leavers.

However, there is much more to do and because of this, we have restructured elements of our frontline work, to serve our vision and the Church more effectively. We now have a Church and Community Relationship Co-ordinator covering Southampton & Hampshire. This post will become vacant on 11th June ‘25.

CCR Co-ordinators are responsible for delivering presentations, holding relationships with church leadership, church champions, individuals and peer to peer groups across identified in Hampshire.

Volunteer Support in Southampton will be carried out by Emily Ichev, who is also our Family Support Manager (maternity cover) in Southampton.
