Supporting Teachers - day event in Southampton
We're excited to share this event, which is being planned by OneBody, Southampton City Mission and Cross Connecting - all organisations that we have growing links with.
Are you a Christian working in the world of Education? Whether you are a teacher, LSA, support staff, or a governor, working in the world of education often brings its own unique challenges. Cross Connecting, One Body Southampton, & Southampton City Mission are collaborating together to put on this event specifically for you, and we would love for you to be there! Come and be re-envisioned and refreshed as we take a fresh look at the vital role you play in investing in children and young people at school. We will also think together about where the challenges lie in the days ahead, and where you can find support for the role you're in.
What To Expect
Hear from Lizzie Harewood, chief executive at the Association of Christian Teachers, about some of the opportunities and challenges in schools in the current climate, and to be re-envisioned in the roles we play at school.
Opportunities to identify other Christians from other churches working at school in your local area.
Discussion groups and an opportunity to be heard by church leaders and others about your lived experience at school.
Discover where the opportunities are to collaborate together across different churches to create opportunities to support children and young people.
Lunch will be provided!
