Church Family Meeting - reporting back

We had a church family meeting on Sunday 19th April, and we thought it would be helpful to report back on the things we talked about together. Our church family meetings are sessions that we have fairly regularly (roughly every 4 months or so) to give everyone an opportunity to talk and ask any questions about our church - where are we going?! What are we doing about our building? How is the kids work planned and do we have enough volunteers.
At our most recent session we shared about:
our posture of gratitude and thankfulness! It's great to be a part of our church family, and we shared our appreciation of being together and the value of growing together in Jesus.
there was a summary and feedback from our last family meeting - what's changed?
feedback on Nathan's role which has been expanded to 4 days a week
our thoughts on space - how can we fit more people in? What are our options?
feedback from the Dwell prayer nights - exciting experiences
how is youth going? Update from Joe on his work with our young people
update on life groups - a new group forms and another group closes.
thinking about pastoral care - how are we doing? What is our structure for communicating pastoral needs in our church family? What could we do better? Do we need a system for pastoral care? We collected information from everyone present in the room and those attending remotely on these questions and will review all of the comments as a team to input into how this develops.
If you missed the meeting, we'd really welcome your considered feedback and thoughts. You can email the leadership team at leadership@kings-soton.org.uk if you'd like to contribute further thoughts. Thanks everyone.
